Visitor no.1 and trip to Cornwall

Our first visitor Tamara came to stay for a while, then Elena and Tamara went on a mini holiday to Penzance, Cornwall - of pirates, smugglers, ghosts and Elena and Tamara's ancestors.

The 40 foot pool

this here is the "40 foot pool" on the dublin coast... (early june 2008) ...This is where Ivan, feeling reckless, took his first dip in the the irish sea.....and didn't last very long...

Gorgeous Glendalough

This is Glendalough ('Glen of the two lakes').. It is a spectacular place with a 6th century monastic site.... It was a gorgeous day and sadly, the last day of our car hire :(
... so we decided to get down there to co. Wicklow to have a look. awesome.

Honeymoon travels

Our Ireland experiment began with a honeymoon / 'get to know Ireland a little' trip.
